    Embodied Cognition Guidance Approach®

My approach to facilitation and learning is the Embodied Cognition Guidance Approach® to facilitation, learning, and counseling integrates the principles of embodied cognition, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and environment in learning and development. Rooted in intersectional and trauma-informed perspectives, this approach incorporates physical movement, sensory experiences, and environmental interaction to create holistic and culturally responsive learning experiences. Addressing the impact of systemic oppression, trauma embodiment, and identity formation empowers participants to reclaim agency, enhance self-awareness, and foster personal and collective growth. This method is particularly attuned to the diverse needs of marginalized communities, blending evidence-based practices with culturally tailored strategies for transformative outcomes.
